March 5, 2007. The Department of Energy’s PMA Project Team announced today that their electronic proposal management application (ePMA) has been moved to a new location at a SunGard data facility to be managed by NetIDEAS, Inc. The move is key to providing faster proposal processing and solve the “time out” problem that has aggravated system users in the past. This move will also provide 24x7 Helpdesk services. February 28, 2006. VALENCIA, Spain, /PRNewswire/ -- An Antonov cargo plane landed today in Valencia carrying unusual precious cargo -- the new America's Cup Class yacht of BMW ORACLE Racing. Thirteen hours and 8,900 kilometres after departing from Seattle, WA in the USA, the 24-metre carbon fiber hull was delivered today to the Challenger in Valencia, site of the 32nd America's Cup in 2007.

October, 2005. Smith & Nephew, NetIDEAS and Pro/ENGINEER. Supporting the new product is Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire. Connecting Pro/ENGINEER to the surgeon are J-Link and WebLink, JAVA and JAVA Script APIs in Pro/ENGINEER. These Java development tools let NetIDEAS build a Java application to connect the user’s Web browser to a remote session of Pro/ENGINEER.

“The surgeon enters case information in standard Web forms,” says Jon Langlois, lead software engineer for NetIDEAS, “and the Web server uses that information to drive a back-end Pro/ENGINEER session. July 31, 2002. Ingersoll Rand Steelcraft, Cincinnati OH, signs contract with NetIDEAS for hosted ICEPak to begin its PDM initiatives. Paperless shop floor initiatives, engineering change control, and product data management are a key piece of Steelcraft’s requirements. John Kalka, Manager of Information Services at Steelcraft, selected the hosted model as a lower total cost of ownership benefit.

June 30, 2002. NetIDEAS is proud to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Ingersoll-Rand to host ProjectLink for its global business units. They are using ProjectLink to Collaborate internally as well as with business partners and Integrators. "The new ProjectLink site is up and running and it took only a few days. Our people have done some testing of the site and are working with NetIDEAS to put in the custom templates for IR. It's gone extremely well.", said George Ashley, Manager of Engineering Business Services at IR. "We're looking for NetIDEAS to be a strategic partner of ours and hosting ProjectLink is a good first step. US Navy (NAVSEA PMS 400F) and Lockheed Martin contracts with NetIDEAS to provide the OpCycle Response & Integration Center (ORIC) in support of the Integrated Digital Environment (IDE) Service Center Concept. The goal is to support ORIC in the design and development of an enterprise data model to integrate and merge existing modernization, maintenance, and logistics data structures into a single data center for all surface combatants.

March 2002. US Army CECOM Research Development Engineering Center (RDEC) contracts with NetIDEAS to develop Virtual Reality to Computer Aided Design (VRTC) interface. It establishes the foundation to enable Application Engineering Services (AES) to provide an easy to use web-centric system to upload mock-up virtual reality drawings along with their position and pose with respect to a Global Coordinate System and generate Pro/Engineer "flexible assemblies" from the completed virtual reality mock-ups.

March 31, 2002. NetIDEAS delivers hosted Windchill ProjectLink to Northrop Grumman Litton Systems Canada. We at NetIDEAS are proud to announce that we have setup the hosted ProjectLink capability for Litton Systems Canada, Toronto, Canada. January 30, 2002. NetIDEAS delivers hosted Windchill ProjectLink to Product Development Technologies (PDT). PDT is seeking a solution to enable collaboration amongst it design team and its Engineering Services clients that are worldwide. In addition, PDT wants to use ProjectLink to share data with its off-shore engineering resources.
